I have a number of articles I’ve been considering writing, but I have been busy with multiple projects and moving the family across the country for the holidays. I pray that God bless you and yours this holiday season.

Next year is going to be very big. All the little pieces seem to be moving well. Momentum seems to be in the right direction. And 2022 will be a tiger year in the Chinese zodiac if you understand what that means— I probably need to write something on astrology / generational cycles at some point.

The Western Christian calendar is cyclical as well, and I’m sure you can feel the shift as we come to the close of Advent. This is a period of waiting— “adventus” meaning a coming towards or in, an “arrival”— and the anticipation is palpable. In the West, Advent starts the new liturgical year. There are subtle shifts in human behavior at times like these, and God speaks through all of this.

So, let’s thank God another year has passed, and pray that next year is better.
